This image has been loaded using the Onibus license client applet. Rather than the page loading the image directly with an HTML <img> tag the page loaded the Onibus license client applet.
Before loading the image the applet first checked the license profile to verify this site had permission to load the image. The credentials were verified and in this case granted the applet permission to load the image. Had it been determined the license profile was invalid or this site didn’t have permission to display the image, the applet would not have been able to load the image.
The license profile could be determined to be invalid for various reasons depending on how you defined the license profile:
- The license profile could have expired
- The license profile could have been deactivated
- The number of image loads could have exceeded the total number of allowed views
- The applet could have been loaded by website that didn’t have authorization to load the image
The Onibus license client also protects your image(s) from being saved by website visitors as the image cannot be saved by right clicking on the image and selecting ’save as’.
